As part of the EU-funded Innovative Medicines Initiative (IMI) project PD-MitoQUANT consortium, a two-year full-time Post-Doctoral position is now available in the Centre for Systems Medicine (CSM) and the Department of Physiology and Medical Physics, RCSI (Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland), utilising molecular and cell imaging techniques to investigate the role of mitochondrial dysfunction in Parkinson’s.

As part of the EU-funded Innovative Medicines Initiative (IMI) project PD-MitoQUANT consortium, a two-year full-time Post-Doctoral position is now available in the Centre for Systems Medicine (CSM) and the Department of Physiology and Medical Physics, RCSI (Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland), utilising molecular and cell imaging techniques to investigate the role of mitochondrial dysfunction in Parkinson’s.
The objective of this post is to manage and co-coordinate the research, data management, dissemination and commercialization activities of the IMI2 JU PD-MitoQUANT consortium, which is investigating the role of mitochondrial dysfunction in Parkinson’s. This includes promoting the interaction of the academic and industrial partners of the consortium and Prof Prehn’s team to facilitate novel avenues of research support and industry-academia collaborations.
