Executive Committee

Neuronet’s governance structure for day-to-day management of the Coordination and Support Action was based on an Executive Committee (ExCom) directly supervising the work in the different Work Packages and responsible for reviewing and deciding on the recommendations received by the Scientific Coordination Board.

Work Package Leaders reported to the ExCom, which provided overall day-to-day coordination with a specific focus on interactions across Work Packages. To be operational and agile, the ExCom was formed by six representatives (Synapse Research Management Partners SL, National Institute for Health and Care Excellence, Alzheimer Europe, Janssen Pharmaceutica NV, Eli Lilly and Company Limited and Sanofi Aventis Recherche & Développement). SYNAPSE and Janssen acted as overall co-leads of the initiative. The ExCom met at least every two weeks via a telephone conference.
